Feature description

I think it would be nice if this application implement bookmarks for transcription, the way Samsung's voice recorder does. You would be able to add a bookmark at a certain timestamp and add text to it. I believe Samsung's implementation modify the audio file itself to embed the bookmarks in.

Why do you want this feature?

I think this is a good way to be able to manually transcribe long audios of people talking, like at a meeting.

I don't think this is a duplicate though. The other issue advocate using actual software to convert speech in recordings to text, while my proposal is more akin to manually noting and transcribing yourself - it's a lot simpler. There's no voice recognition involved here, simply manual bookmarking and transcribing.

Sorry, I got confused by the request title. You're right, that's a different feature request, as what you're requesting for is the bookmarks support.
