  1. In the call details (three dots on the right of the number) of the grouped call, can you see if the call is from home or mobile?
  2. Do you still have this problem after turning off Group subsequent calls with the same number at the call log in Settings?

  1. I don't see it.

  2. Same problem after turning off that.

Same for me. I only see the name in the call list. I can't see if it's mobile or work or home. The phone number is also not displayed to me. My number formatting comes from Outlook and has the following format for example: +11 (222) 333333: When I select "Add number to Contact", the number will appear with the following formatting: +11222333333.

I have this problem too with some contacts and I just noticed that if I click on the contact, the contact app opens Signal contact (not my DAVx5 synchronized contact with multiple numbers). I guess the issue might be partially related to https://github.com/FossifyOrg/Phone/issues/73#issuecomment-1913282419

In my case, it is even stranger. Sometimes the phone number of the contact is shown, instead of his/her name, with or without the number kind.

Yesterday I made some tests, and for some contacts the name was shown, but mainly without number kind. This morning, after restarting the phone, several names in the history list have been replaced by the phone numbers, but not always. If I call again the same numbers the contact names are shown, but for calls made yesterday the numbers remain.

Following this comment, I just noticed that when tapping the contact icon of a "broken" item nothing happens, while the contact details should appear. Actually, for those items "Show contact details" in the three dots menu is not available. So, it looks like the number is not recognized as one of your contacts. Still, the icon shows the picture of the contact correctly.

Just to let you know, in case it may help.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. The substitution of names with numbers happens only after some time. I have a contact with five numbers. Yesterday, I called all of them and they all appeared with only the contact name (so, without number type) in the call history. I rebooted the phone a few times during the day and the contact name still appeared. Yesterday night I turned the phone off and started again this morning, and now in three out of five cases the contact name has been replaced by the phone numbers. In two cases the contact name is still shown. No idea why this happens the day after the calls have been made and why some numbers appear while others do not.
