Some incoming calls freeze the app and cannot receive or reject calls

Steps to reproduce the bug

This issue began like a day ago from posting this bug. When I receive some calls, the slider for receive or reject calls freezes and nothing happens thereafter. It is random, so I cannot pinpoit where it began.

1. Do you have turned on Always display incoming calls on full screen in Settings?
2. Have you tried to force stop the app and check if it's working properly after?

I have the same issue. I can not accept or reject incoming calls. I get the following error message: "Bei Telefon ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Umschalten auf die..." (german) "An error occurred with the phone. Switch to the...." (english - translated)

I dont know if the error is generated by Android, but I think so.

When the caller hangs up, following notification remains:

I also tend to force restart sometimes coz if I dial someone by mistake immediately cancel, the notification gets stuck in the notification bar. Or someone calls and the call is left as ongoing even though it is completed.

@ka259 Thanks for clarifying. I've reopened it because it seems different.

I have the same issue where calls simply dont show at all but you can hear the ringtone, app is set as the primary phone app and everything is granted ,

App is NOT frozen and upon opening the app while receiving the call DOES NOT make the call appear BUT receiving another call at the same time of being IN a call make the choice (accept/decline) show correctly

Ending up missing a bunch of calls at the end to make it short lol

It wasnt an issue before but it seems with some recent update i didnt saw the bug appeared ?

Here in this diskussion I found the answer for the similar problem on my Android_13 Ulefone. I had to switch on the button "show call in fullscreen" in the properties. Before I was shown the call but I couldn't do anything to accept the call neither to reject it - always when the phone fell into hibernation mode and I should unlock the screen. So this is a case for translators. I'm german and don't know how the original desription of this important button, but "show call in fullscreen" / "Eingehende Anrufe immer im Vollbild anzeigen" doesn't touch the problem at all. I thought it is just a case of design at some place in the GUI, I didn't see any sign of beeing able to accept calls when they arrive in my phone when the start screen is locked. "Accept calls when strart screen is locked" / "Eingehende Anrufe auch bei gesperrtem Startbildschirm annehmen" is my proposual.
