How many conversations do you have?
@naveensingh I stopped using this app because the block function wasn't working (more specifically I couldn't unblock, referenced in another issue you commented on). I have at least a few hundred conversations.
Unfortunately the default app that GrapheneOS uses (which I believe is the stock Android Messages app, barely modified) has the reverse problem, blocking numbers does not prevent messages from producing audible notifications. No clue if this is somehow related. I literally am unable to block anyone from pinging my phone, no matter what app I use.
