Feature description
Add an option to hide app names in drawer or home
Why do you want this feature?
It's more clear fo me a drawer only with icons. It also makes easier having more (in my case all) apps in the drawer without scrolling.

+1 from me, this option would be nice as right now longer app names are currently wrapped (incorrectly) and that really doesn't look nice.
My terrible workaround is renaming the apps "." Because Fossify considers that a space is an empty name and won't let me do it.
If a user is doing something like this, it's because they really, really want the feature OP requested.
Simple Mobile Tools had this functionality in "Simple App Launcher." https://github.com/SimpleMobileTools/Simple-App-Launcher Would it be possible to port the code from "Simple App Launcher" to this, since Fossify decided not to bother forking this repo? It would be good to have all the classic Simple Mobile Tools functionality available in Fossify apps in order for it to not seem like a downgrade.
It will be added to Fossify Launcher. There is no porting required.
Hello, I came in to request something like this. I previously attempted to delete the name of apps like I would in now unmaintained Nova Launcher I'm replacing. I also tried to rename using non breakable spaces. An error message prompting the input of a name blocks the operation. A feature like what OP requested would solve my problem without allowing empty names or unusual characters which I assume are a challenge.
