Can you give more detailed reproduction steps? I've removed the last icon from the screen, and it has been removed. Are you removing icons from the last screen, or one in-between?

I am removing the last icon from the last screen and not from one in-between. You can see it on the screenshot.

I'm trying, but I still can't reproduce it on the last screen. However, I can reproduce it on the first screen and in-between.

Also affected using Launcher 1.1.2 on Google Pixel 6a. One space filled with icons and a second space completely empty. I tried everything I could to get the second space to disappear, e.g. moving all icons to second space and back, adding new icons and removing them and so on. Nothing helped, the second space persisted. For days.

In the mean time, I configured the column count to a quite high number (16 or so) and the Launcher crashed. It even crashed when restarted. So I cleared the data and cache for this app, started it and since this cleanup the behaviour is back to normal. Second spaces disappears when empty.
