Feature description

Choose any custom name for apps to be displayed with. Optimally, the custom name of choice would be accessible from the search bar, as well as the original name (optionally).

Why do you want this feature?

Sometimes the name of an app is way too long, or starts with characters or words i don't usually scroll for in my list, or i want to hide the name of a brand, or want to have that app icon appear at a different place in my list.

Sometimes i want an app to renamed: because its name is way too long, or starts with characters or words i don't usually scroll for in my list, also because i want to hide the name of a brand, or have my icon appear at a different place in my list.

Seems like rename is an option for the apps on the home screen only. Agree it would be nice to rename globally.

+1 that the original name should be found via search.
