Can you provide exact steps how you uninstall the app that you have this problem? I tried multiple ways and the icon always disappeared from home screen.

@Aga-C interesting, I dont remember specific steps, I will try it again

maybe its, again, only slow, but I waited some time, so it would be really slow for me

@Aga-C yea, it was just really slow, 20+ seconds

I installed small app from F-droid, uninstall it from the drawer and then looked on home screen, where was the icon for next the 20+ seconds

Readmi note 8 pro Android 11 5.1.1
