Please don't make the app unnecessarily bloated (more powerful than needed). In my opinion, simplicity is the strongest argument in favor of this keyboard.

T9 needs a dictionary for every language used. There are T9 keyboards for Android that you can install in addition to Fossify Keyboard. Then you can switch between the keyboards if necessary.

Following your line of thought we don't need Fossify Keyboard because we could use other keyboards instead. There are no viable T9 opensource keyboards around, but don't sweat: given this request was ignored I don't think someone will ever do it.

@gylas I do not use T9. But may be I can help you. On F-Droid you can find open-source "Traditional T9" by Dimo Karaivanov that should support a long list of languages, according description. last Version is 40.0 from 02.11.2024. It is up to date! May be you risk a view on it.

Tried that one and all the ones i could find available. None of them works really well.
