Feature description
The Fossify Keyboard app permanently shows a bar/area above the keys. It shows the current clipboard text (if that option is enabled) and two buttons on the right side of the bar: one button for the clipboard and one button to go to the settings of the app.
I would like to have an option to permanently hide/remove this bar.
Why do you want this feature?
This bar takes away a lot of space and I don't need/want this bar, because I usually remember the current clipboard text by myself and I go to the settings of my keyboard app only rarely. I disabled the option "Show clipboard content if available".

@TheRupp If this bar is hidden, what is your proposal to access settings menu then ?
The bar could be reduced instead, when no content is in the clipboard, to show only the necessary icons.
Also, what if we make it collapsible instead?

@Wanou38 The settings menu can always be accessed by opening the "Fossify Keyboard" app. This is slower than a settings button in the bar, but I am fine with it, because I only rarely need to go to the settings of my keyboard app.

I think it could be great.
when this bar is collapsed, the keyboard's Clipboard and Settings could be accessed by long‑pressing the Emoji key
long‑pressing the Emoji key
This launches the language selection dialog...
the way i envision it is that when long‑pressing the Emoji key while the bar is not there, it pops up three symbols:
- language select
- clipboard
- settings
depending which symbol the user selects, the appropriate function happens
I would suggest long pressing , like in Gboard
