Feature description
When using the Share feature directly from gallery, all EXIF and metadata from the file instance that will be transfered, should be removed automatically. *NOT FROM THE ORIGINAL IMAGE
Perhaps it can be a feature which can be turned on/off in settings?
Why do you want this feature?
For privacy concerns and protecting personal data. Some apps such as Signal, strip a good part of the metadata (but not all). However, many others don't, and people end up unknowingly sharing a lot of sensitive info.
Additional information
Eventually, the setting controlling EXIF removal could offer a more granular control, in case the user wants to keep some metadata, but remove other.
This is a good idea

Guys, please, refrain from posting such comments. I hate being notified every time someone "also likes this feature" or "has the same issue" and certainly I'm not the only one. Unless you have something new to add, just add a thumb up or heart reaction to the issue. Thank you.
For anyone who's waiting on this feature request, in the meantime, you can use the app Scrambled Exif to achieve this. Instead of sharing to (e.g.) WhatsApp, you share the photo to Scrambled Exif, which will then re-prompt you with a new share dialogue, and then you choose WhatsApp.
