Would you like to have this hidden only on the root folder or everywhere? If everywhere, how would you know where currently you are?

I'd like it hidden everywhere (I mean, as an option).

Believe me, there are many people like me who either remember where they are or don't care where they are.

I go inside folders with the intent to do some pre-planned stuff, so it's obvious that I will know the current path without the app's help.
