  2. Reboot your phone

OR alternatively:

  1. Snooze a notification inside the app for X minutes
  2. Reboot your phone

Expected behavior

The notifications should reappear after the reboot OR after the reboot when the snooze time has elapsed.

Actual behavior

The calendar notifications will not be shown again - even when setting up a snooze time.

Additional information

I keep missing important calendar notifications or tasks I set up because after every reboot they disappear. This happens even when using the snooze feature inside the app to time it so they should appear after the reboot.

I use GrapheneOS and there are times where I receive multiple updates per week which requires a reboot so this issue occurs very frequently for me. Basically notifications disappear...

...when you reboot your phone deliberately ...when your phone crashes and reboots ...when there is an update and you have set up automatic reboots ...when the timer elapses which reboots your phone and puts it into before first unlock state.

This issue contains only one bug.

There are technically two things here.

The notifications should reappear after the reboot

No, this is working as intended. The app has already done the job of notifying the user, and changing this behavior would be a feature request, not a bug. If you'd like, please file a separate issue for this.

The notifications should reappear after the reboot when the snooze time has elapsed.

This definitely needs to be fixed.

Okay, I've filed a dedicated feature request for the reboot alone behavior. :)
