Feature description
I have a handful of events that contain links in the description.
Unfortunately there is no way to simply tap on them and open the browser. I need to open the event in edit mode, copy the link, and then paste it in the browser.
There should be a way to simply tap on links and open them.
Why do you want this feature?
Definitely a quality of life feature.

It will be possible to do this nicely after https://github.com/FossifyOrg/Calendar/issues/171 is done.
Considering that's a 2yo issue and still not completed makes me think it'll be a long time until it's done.
Also to make it clear, I'm talking about the in-app behavior and not the widget. I don't use the widget myself.

There wasn't much development before. I just assigned it to myself.

That request is a bit specific, but when implemented, it'll work everywhere, not just the widget.
