Highlighting of current day in widget not standing out

Feature description

In widget the current day could be highlighted more prominent for clarity.

Why do you want this feature?

One could benefit from better overview in the widget in this fantastic app.

I agree. It would be nice to have current day to stand out. Maybe different background color?

@lianergoist This issue is about the monthly widget. There's another, general report about UI of the event list widget: https://github.com/FossifyOrg/Calendar/issues/144.

I think it stands out enough but it uses the same background style as events/tasks so it's not instantly clear which is which. The current day should just have a circular background like it does in the app.

My workaround: set the background color of most appointments to black. So now it's invisible due to my widget-backround color now also being black. Much cleaner although I'd prefer a thin circle around the current day as well.
