Steps to reproduce the bug
- Install Fossify Calendar & DAVx⁵
- In DAVx⁵:
- Add an account
- Add a remote CalDAV calendar, ensure it is synced with android
- In Fossify Calendar:
- Enable CalDAV sync
- Ensure remote CalDAV calendar from Davx⁵ is synced to app
- In DAVx⁵:
- Delete the account
- Return to Fossify Calendar, observe the calendar list
Expected behavior
The remote CalDAV calendar that was imported from DAVx⁵ should no longer exist, or should be deletable.
Actual behavior
The remote CalDAV calendar that was imported from DAVx⁵ still exists and cannot be removed.
- It is not present in Settings > CalDAV > Manage synced calendars
- Refreshing the CalDAV calendars does not remove it
- It cannot be deleted under Settings > General > Manage event types

Additional information
Current workaround for this issue: If you disable & re-enable CalDAV sync, it will remove the phantom/dangling calendar, as mentioned here: https://github.com/SimpleMobileTools/Simple-Calendar/issues/1958#issuecomment-1406215569 (The issue was, imo, incorrectly closed)
Hello.
Just spotted same problem. Android 13 on Moto g32 Davx⁵ last version 4.5.5-ose Calendar is on Nextcloud (docker install, updated to last version).
I tried with a random account from Nextcloud, added to Davx⁵ then added to Calendar Fossify. Deleted it from Davx⁵ and then the calendar is no more present in syncing menu from Calendar Fossify (normal behavior) but it is still presents in the thin colored bar at the bottom and in settings (to choose name and color).
When I try to delete it, the app tells me to delete it from Davx⁵.
The workaround from the Additional information section is still effective.
Yes, tested it and it works 😅.
