Feature description

Add an option to show today's date in "Simple event list" view, even if there are no events today.

Why do you want this feature?

In "Simple event list" view, if there are no events today, there is no on-screen indication of today's date. In all other multi-day views, this is indicated by highlighting today's date in the theme's accent color. Adding today's date (highlighted) would be helpful in gauging how long it is until your next event if you're a forgetful person and happened to forget what day it is.
