Feature description

Increase the number of reninders for an event and for bithdays and anniversary reminders.

Why do you want this feature?

Currently the app only allows 3 reminders per event. I would like to be more. 6-8 perhaps?

Additional information

If possible, to also try and push this feature in Simple Calendar as well.

@Aga-C I apologize for the ping and hope I'm not bothering you. We've essentially completed this task as it was quite simple and straightforward, and we've also nearly finished another one.

However, we're somewhat stuck at the moment because we're unsure if the request will be approved or not. I apologize again and wish you a good day.

@Sinexo We haven't prioritized this task yet, and we even haven't considered if we want this feature, so we keep the needs triage label. We don't plan on changing our priorities, especially since there's already a lot of work for us. Please wait, and if you want to contribute, take tasks ready for development.

Hello, I would really like this. I regularly want to have a series of reminders for things like people's birthdays, or shipping notifications, that require more than 3. I would guess that making it unlimited is easiest, since the ICal spec doesn't have a limit on reminders.

Hi. I really like Fossify Calendar but when I set long term events I would need more than 3 reminders.

It's very useful to have 5 or 6 reminders for distant in time Events (several months ahead) or complicated Events with multiple preparations.

EDIT: I just realize there is another issue (480) with a similar request. Sorry for the mess.

The Etar Calendar, the one LineageOS uses, has this feature. Since both calendars feel very similar, exept for the settings and mainscreen, I wonder if they do share some sort of base? In which case it might be possible to join efforts or in this case copy the feature(if the license permits it).

Etar is AOSP based. I think it was forked from CyanogenMod (of which LineageOS is a fork) back in the days but not sure if it is kept in sync with the upstream.
