The default values are not up box defaults... how can I extract the default values from my printer?

I also wonder about this.. Up Box is not really supproted/compatible I think. I still hope a new version of Fixup3d will be released or some info about how to use it..

If anyone point-me the directions, I can extract the default values from UP BOX... The biggest strang thing I found is the nozzle size... UP BOX has a .4mm nozzle, but show as .3mm on fixup3d dialog.

That is ''normal'' for all Ups, 0.3 is default for some reason. I can see Box values but when I import the software also crashes.. Maybe my Windows 10 is the problem, I tried the Afinia 2.15 software. I have added a cfg file if you want to check, rename from png to cfg (couldn't upload otherwise..). defaultupbox

Hi Diego & UP Box followers.

Seems to me that during the pre-heat timer phase, the extruder drive gear is still rotating, which is grinding up the filament and depositing plastic (abs) dust on the drive gear. So when your pre-timer period finishes, and the print is ready to print, the print will print for about 1 - 2 mins before starting to air-print. Dis-assembling the extruder drive cover will show you a heap of plastic dust on the drive gear. This will happen after every attempt (trial) to print.

One of the improvements to the software would be to: a. Stop extruder drive from rotating during the pre-heat phase. (I f using the pre-heat option). b. Have an option to ‘turn off/disable’ the pre-heat timer. c. Make sure the nozzle temp gets to the temp you allocated and starts to print. (Currently it requires 2 'print again' attempts). (If pre-heat timer option is used).

Thanks - I hope someone out there can work on this issue.

Thanks guys.

Hi, I'm not the developer, one thing you need to understand, the UP! printers are closed source, so, no g-code can be direct send to the printer (to control extreuder, or, other details), but, this software can intercept SOME parameters, and, let you edit. About the pre-heat, just leave it on 0, I having zero problems using this software, but, to get clean prints, I need to change the Scan Width to a lower value (about 15%).
