Error while trying to save webcam settings

Open viktak opened this issue 4 months ago • 1 comments

This error seems to be very similar, if not identical to #912 .

When trying to save settings (even if I didn't change them) on the Camera Settings - Webcam - Default OctoPi 0.16.0 page, it fails with the error: Error Cancelling Webcam Settings. It also fails if I want to cancel the changes: Error Cancelling Webcam Settings

I am using the latest Octoprint (OctoPrint 1.11.2 Python 3.10.15) and Octolapse (Octolapse 0.4.5Settings Version: 0.4.3) in a docker container on a thin client running Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm) x86_64.

Also, a note of interest: when I install Octolapse using the plugin manager (searching for and installing Octolapse) installs a different version than the latest one available (0.4.5). To get the 0.4.5 version, I had to install it using its URL.

After submitting this bug report I carried on with a print, and it seems to me that despite all the errors shown, the settings I set up are in fact kept. Hope this helps a bit in troubleshooting the issue. Let me know if I can help with testing or if you need more details about my environment.
