Support Pi HQ cam in max resolution

As requested a new thread for a high res feature for the Pi cams. Will this work for the V2 also or just easier to run with the HQ?

any update on this functionality? i got this camera after giving up on DSLR but i did not know its the same issue with an actual pi camera as well ;/

is this coming? or can we just increase the resolution in the octopi.txt file? i.e.: camera_usb_options="-r 1920x1080 -f 30"

You can definitely increase the resolution, but there are issues capturing a super high res image from a stream, which is the normal way Octolapse does it. There have been several attempts to get this working properly, some quite clever, but still trying to find a reasonable way to integrate them. Please keep posting here, as I tend to sort issues by recent activity (I need to do some major housekeeping, lol!). Now that the busy season for me is ending, I should have some time to catch up!
