Unable to progress Waking Nightmare quest (Daedric Quest) due to additional spawns

Describe the bug Additional spawns (bandits and mages) in Nightcaller Temple can cause Veren and Thorek to be killed before the Dragonborn and Erandur can reach the final chamber. This can result in the quest Waking Nightmare (quest ID DA16) to be stuck at quest stage 191.

To Reproduce Go to Dawnstar and talk to Erandur at Windpeak Inn to start Waking Nightmare quest. Do the Waking Nightmare quest to its completion.

Expected behavior

1. Veren and Thorek to be alive in the final chamber or
2. the quest stage automatically updates from 191 to 192 if Veren and Thorek are killed before the cutscene in the final chamber plays.
