"I need you to wait here Sithis, I'll be right back" dialogue option on multiple followers

Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
Multiple followers have a dialogue option, ""I need you to wait here Sithis, I'll be right back", including followers from Interesting NPCs, and Lucien, among others. It's not every follower, since Inigo doesn't have it.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: Spoke to Zora Fair-Child and Rumarin. It's in their dialogue options.
Expected behavior A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen. This option to not exist randomly, for seemingly no reason.

I've got this as well but figured it was intentional / part of the build somehow.
I have not actually tried it before now but just did so I could explain. For Interesting NPC (I have Amalee as a follower right now) it seems to work just as if I was telling her to wait and then follow me again. For Lucien it has no effect. He also has a standard 'wait here' option available in the dialog choices which works normally. Dialog option is not present for Sofia or Vilja. Have not used any other followers yet.
I just installed LS2 2.4.0 and recruited Duraz from the Old Horolden Inn. She has this dialogue option as well. I'd be interested to know what mod adds it or how to use/get rid of it. Cheers!
Not new news, but still present for any followers that I have that get grabbed by NFF in version 2.5.1. Custom followers with thier own system (Inigo, Vilja, others maybe) don't have this issue.
