Feature Request: make barcode buddy run with ingress in Home Assistant

As I run Home Assistant via SSL and access it from outside, I would like to be able to access Barcode Buddy via ingress feature from within Home Assistant.

I tried to activate the feature but it seems not to run out of the box. I set the ingress and ingress_stream to true but when I try to open barcode buddy it states 502: Bad Gateway.

Anyone has a clue where to tweak barcode buddy that this could work?

The Homeassistant addon is not actively maintained by me, as I only use Home Assistant Core, not the HA OS. If I have some time I will have a look at it however.
