Server: Include sharing with r/o and edit access
I'd like the sharing Feature too. any plans when this might be available? Thank you for that Tool. Amazing :+1:
this tool are great, better thant made html files with the editdoc qand share it!
please be hurry with share (for now i sharing manually with ugly hacks)
i made some test.. theres a bug opened as #23 if note are shared could be edited with all users or sahred users!
I have shared with others, but it doesn't end up in their note folder. but rather outside, so they can't edit or view the note. Is there plans to fix this?
@krizoek the file storage is just a container. Sharing is not yet implemented but is on the enhancement list.
Thank you for this app. It would be great if we could share a choosen note with other members of our owncloud server and all be able to modify it.
I'm going to throw in my +1 as well. If I have the time available before you get to it, will submit a patch :)
BTW, I did try to hack together a share by taking the following steps:
- Write the note on User A
- Log in as User B and mak a note with the same name/group
- Switch back to User A and share the notes file (in the Notes directory) from the Files app with User B
- Back on User B, move the shared file into the Notes directory, overwriting the one that the Notes app had created
This certainly did not work (since you wrote it this might or might not be a surprise), and produced very odd results :)
Unfortunately, my PHP skills are non-existent. But I could support this as a tester.
+1. Would buy the app for the whole family if sharing is working. Thanks for the great work.
+1 I think it would be fantastic to be able to create workflow documents and share them without requiring viewers to log on. I'm seriously considering setting up a Nextcloud server at a location I maintain, and this would be the cherry on top. :)
