our editors really like the new media UI :) However, they miss the "replace asset" function in the inspector. Normally you go to any image property in the inspector, click on the thumbnail and replace the image with the "Replace Asset" button.

There are already buttons and shortcuts to some functions like delete and download. Would it also be possible to create a link to the media replacement? Either on the image or as a task?

Hi @bstrilziw thx for the feedback. The replace button is in the inspector on the right when you select an image in the module itself:

It was intentionally not added to the details view as we didn't have a notice back then when changes would affect the whole website. In theory now that we have a handler for these cases we could add it back again. We just didn't want to many global functions in the details view that would affect other usages of the same asset.
