In ui-chart allow setting echarts options via msg.ui_update?

Description

There has already been a user complaining that the chart x axis labels are no longer rotated. I was going to suggest allowing configuration of that in the chart settings. I suspect that there will be many requests for extensions to make use of the vast array of options available in eCharts.

It occurred to me that it may be fairly easy to allow setting eChart options via msg.ui_update, which would make it possible to easily customise the chart. In particular this would make many of those things that are normally tweaked using CSS to be more easily adjusted.

Have you provided an initial effort estimate for this issue?

Thanks Colin, this is definitely in our plans, and had been on hold until we got the charts migrated over to eCharts.

Providing access to the ECharts options via msg.ui_update would be a major step forward and a huge benefit for all dashboard users. A prompt implementation would be highly appreciated by the community. Thank you Colinl for incorporating this feature, finally...

No, sorry. It is out of my hands, it relies on some work by the flowfuse team to review some more fixes that are in the pipeline and do the release. I am hoping that it will be within the next week or so though.
