Mac Mini late 2012 patched on OS X 10.15.7 but 60hz not working

Open camillo18tre opened this issue 4 years ago • 5 comments

Hello everyone, I patched my Mac Mini late 2012 - OS X 10.15.7- and when I try to set the resolution to 4K 60hz with SwitchResX4 , the screen of my monitor (Samsung space 32 - LS32R75) become black.

If I set 4K 30hz It works perfectly but is unusable. Is there a way to fix this to 60hz?

Thank you!

C.

Mac Mini late 2012 doesn't support 4K 60hz but only 4K30hz for the thunderbold v1

What cable do you use?

Hi Floris! I'm using a Mini DisplayPort Thunderbolt 2 cable by cablematters (high quality cable). I tried with my MB Pro 15 retina 2015 and everything works perfectly. As you know, is there a way to push It to 60hz?
