I have provided a (working for me) patch/update
That patch works for me too
Works for me as well [MiniMac 2012]
Mac mini (Late 2012) with Intel HD 4000 - patch update provided by @jquinter working fine. Do not know if the previous one did NOT work, in my case previous updates were not particularly necessary to get a working patch, however this time I wanted to go for safe and new, so gave this update a shot - of which I am very happy about. This could be the last macOS 10.14.X version... then new challenges (?) :)
I got the following error and see if anyone can help ... Thanks !

To me that is not an error, every time I patched I saw this “ Unknown version of CoreDisplay found.” message.
Your patch might work after all. Mine is in the same macOS.
