mac-pixel-clock-patch-V2 Display becomes blurry when using patch

With the patch installed successfully, my LG 4K display becomes blurry at the 1080p resolution. This is the only resolution that allows me to switch to 60 Hertz. By contrast, selecting 1920x1080 as my resolution makes everything crisp, but I can only choose between 30, 25, and 24 Hertz.

I've got a MacBook Pro 15 inch 2016, running MacOS 10.13.6, connected to the LG Electronics 27UD68P-B 27".

And I'm connected via a USB-C dongle to an HDMI cable.

Use SwitchResX to get the timing info for the two resolutions that you used (pixel clock, active pixels, horizontal and vertical scan rates).

Exactly which USB-C to HDMI adapter did you use?

The 27UD68P-B has a DisplayPort input. Does it behave properly when you use that?

I think your mac natively support 4k@60, see https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206587

So it is likely that you are using the wrong dongle or wrong HDMI cable
