Open Hiccup80 opened this issue 1 year ago • 12 comments

After using Wii flow I noticed that disc prompt on left side corner. I was trying to play my gamecube games that I own and when try to boot it in Wii flow it doesn't work for physical GameCube games once taping it a attempts to boot but crashes and it powers off the console got one error Don't know what issue is I asked a lot people if they have same issue as I do. Don't know what's causing the problem. Wii physical games boots fine in Wii flow but not for GameCube.

wiiflow uses nintendont to boot and play gamecube games. i assume you have nintendont and have played gc iso's?

Yeah I have Nintendont. Wii physical games it works in Wii flow. But basically if I put GameCube physical game that I own it crashes shuts off in Wii flow. That's When I have settings with emu card memory disable. Other thing to is if have emu card memory card enabled gives me this error messages saying fail to create save data people have told me to disable emu card memory but just crashes the console. So have done almost everything even starting over and still does the same thing but shouldn't use the emulator to boot up the gamecube game because Wii games use the emulator to boot the game just as my digital backups with bar white loading screen and boots just fine with physical and digital games. But for GameCube when I use usbx loader it reads the GameCube games just fine but I don't like USBx loader because I would have boot into it every single time. Because my Wii flow is primarily in my console menu I don't like Nintendo UI menu because it sucks.

Does Nintendont work stand-alone? That's what you need to get working.

Then it will "just work" in WFL

What's WFL. Yes Nintendont work fine for digital games but not for my physical copy.

You may want to move over to the support forum at gbatemp.net. Please use the search function.

BTW are you using a Wii or WiiU? The later does not read gamecube media.

WFL is WiiFlowLite, the software whose repo you are posting in :)

OK, let's take it to the support forum. The repo is really only meant for bug reports.
