WiiFlow 5.5.4-1 recognizes USB but not games

Open japaneseTemmie opened this issue 1 year ago • 5 comments

Describe the bug I initially formatted my usb to FAT32 and put the games in {root}\wbfs, when inserting the usb and launching wiiflow with these startup options: Mount USB only: False USB Port: 1 (usb also inserted in port 1)

WiiFlow correctly recognizes the USB but it throws an error: "No games found in usb1:\wbfs" I backed up my games with Wii backup manager which creates a wbfs folder and stores games like this: GAMENAME [GAMEID] (dir) -> GAMEID.wbfs (file)

I then tried many troubleshooting ways and also tried formatting the usb to NTFS but nothing. This bug started occouring AFTER updating to version 5.5.4-1 from 5.5.1.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to '...'
  2. Click on '....'
  3. Scroll down to '....'
  4. See error

after adding games manually, when you get that error no games found, try going to the home menu and clicking Reload Cache.

I tried many things, such as Reloading cache, reformatted the USB to FAT32 and copied only the raw .wbfs files to the wbfs directory, but nothing changed, i can't even format the usb to the WBFS file system and use it with USB loader gx because i'm on Linux and Wii backup manager doesn't run under wine

Does WiiFlow v.5.5.4-1 require any CIOSes?
