How to switch to UIA3?

Hi :) When I install this package , my project will instantly start to use UIA3 while still using the very same classes from System.Windows.Automation namespace? So I don't need to use the Interop namespace, right? And when I uninstall this nuget package, I switch to UIA2 without doing anything?

And why this package still needs to exist? Why System.Windows.Automation is not UIA3 out of the box?
