I think this has been resolved via various improvements to the code base

git-version has "fallback: If all else fails, this string will be given instead of reporting an error.". So we can embed something in there like the cargo/crate version I think....

@pando85 Do you have any ideas here? I know you worked on the CI with github actions, so any insight into code coverage tools too?

I think this would be part of a password-security policy system which rather than being system-level, sohuld be flexible enough to have different roles/categories of rules that can apply such...

https://openmetrics.io/ was suggested by @pando85 as a standard we could consider following, so we should look at this for status.

I think this issue now is more about extending the endpoint to internally verify more parts.
