I believe this column is intended to manage commitment discounts. There might be a needed to introduce a dedicated charge with ChargeCategory=CommitmentUtilization to enable practitioners to get all needed info to manage commitments after the initial purchase, and maybe avoiding to repeat the same period info in multiple charges. There’s an ongoing PR https://github.com/FinOps-Open-Cost-and-Usage-Spec/FOCUS_Spec/pull/400 on Commitment Utilization.

@Matt-Cowsert As we discussed, this could potentially be a Feature Request not just for Commitment Period, but Commitment Length, Commitment Discount Name, and any other Commitment Discount attributes. To that end, it potentially has significant overlap with #674 and you could maybe combine them -- up to you.
