Now I understand what is not being translated. It's exactly this other [issue](https://github.com/FilipePS/Traduzir-paginas-web/issues/386). I'm closing this issue because it's a duplicate.
This seems to be the same as what happened with the opera. An issue related to language detection API. This is likely to be happening with all chromium based browsers.
When using reading mode, you can translate the selected text using the context menu. You still have no option to change the font size.

I checked here and it's working. Check in the settings if it is really configured to translate to Spanish.
