Issue with rosdep with ros2

Hello!

I've cloned the repo into my workspace, and ran the rosdep commands but I get the following error,

ERROR: Rosdep cannot find all required resources to answer your query Missing resource virtual_maize_field

I have a general few questions, is the repo meant to be cloned into the src of the ws, or is it meant to be on the root of the ws itself?, Cause in either case, after building it, I run into this error. Any clarifications into this issue would be helpful.
