Changes in Kodi 18 (Leia) related to VNSI / "lost server connection"-message

Open WizardPit opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

Hi FernetMenta,

since Kodi 18 (Leia) the are changes in the API. The Kodi-team remove [PVR][Settings] Remove 'hide connection lost warning' (Kodi 17 and previous has this option) and delegated it to the plug-in with "async connect"-order [ change log #11500].

Following problem: I using Kodi 18 with VNSI on a new Sony-Android-TV, and when I switch off the TV Kodi is still an open App. After powering on the TV I get the "lost server connection"-message for about 5 min flashing and sometimes a crash afterwards. Kodi is installed trough the Google-Play-Store and VNSI-addon over the addon-menu inside Kodi - no manual or zip install.

To fix this problem there is only one option at the moment: a downgrade to Kodi 17 via apk.

Environment: vdr 2.4.0 vnsi-server 1.8.0

Do you have any plans to extend the plug-in?

THX

Hi,

Sorry, I don't maintain this plugin anymore.
