looks normal. for some reason epg database is flagged as dirty (changed) by vdr or some other addon you may have loaded.
I would just hide an issue. Did you try with only vnsiserver and no other plugins?

hmm, select is a standard posix function. on what system do you run vdr? hardware, os, etc
