Just a doubt about gamemoderun

I'm wondering if it's safe to run gamemoderun into a terminal, without arguments, because i did just that to test if it worked, while Steam client was running, and then i got games corruption (just proton ones, natives were not affected) and a system hang. I'm not sure if it is related, maybe it is just a coincidence and some others facts are involved (Steam failure, btrfs corruption, external harddrive failure).

gamemoderun isn't doing anything special other than pre-loading a very minimal .so to send out the dbus messages to start GameMode. It's probably not causing these issues for you, but if you can prove it then it'd be well worth looking into!
