Will Legacy Extensions work with this?
Will Firefox legacy extensions work with MyPal 68 or will it only support WebExtensions?

supporting XUL on esr68 will be very limited, as mozilla keeps removing XUL related interfaces. seamonkey-2.57 branch is based on esr60 and it has already limited XUL support with same reason.

I need github-wc-polyfill (if github stops working again), and also really need modify-http-response by justoff
@gdl-888 where do you download this ? I remember having installed this addon but github is still not fully functional to me (Serpent 52) so I have to write from the latest chrome 360 version

Yes old extensions is not a goal for me now. I am fully satisfied with regular firefox extensions. Try to make someone to do missed extensions into new format.
да new format вроде как убоггое убожоство и не все разработчики хотят с ним связыватсо...
хотя конечно много "привычных" плагинов таки появилось снова
можот можно допилить браузер до более классического вида? чтоб небыло необходимости ставить 100500 расширений мне пришлось поставить штук 5 на serpent52 чтоб он стал юзабельным как старый mypal из коробки...
хотя надо посмотреть можоот есссть более новомодный classic theme restorer который покроет все что нужно сразу

глянул новомодный downthemall для web extenisons это ущербнейшее дно...
фаирфокс без адоннов не фаирфокс....
Ну так вперёд возвращайте поддержку старых аддонов. downthemall действительно хуже но чтоб так уже дно не сказал бы - благо обычная качалка в 68 и так работает нормально, за всё время не было необходимости в downthemall.
для меня это импосибл для тебя одного возможно тоже ибо починить одному то что однодовременно ломают куча индусов...

AFAIK the XUL runner was delivered also as a standalone software, that was able to run some apps with little o no dependency of the browser. Maybe Mypal can explore the way to include it, and though it would work only for a small number of apps/extensions, some of the ones that potentially can work are quite popular (firessh, firessh, reminderfox,...
