Twitter not working

Open Legalien opened this issue 3 years ago • 6 comments

I tried regular Twitter and with a mobile user agent:

https://mobile.twitter.com/ https://twitter.com/

In both cases I get an error - Something went wrong. Try reloading.

If I click "Try again" on the mobile version, the URL changes to this:

https://mobile.twitter.com/?failedScript=main

So Twitter isn't working on Centaury. I wasn't expecting that. Twitter is quite popular.

I'm running Centaury version 2021.04.05 (64-bit). It should be the latest version.

Any solution?

Same issue here. I tried changing the UserAgent, but it doesn't seem to be working. Is there anything I can add to about:config to make this work again @Feodor2 ? Thanks.

Hey man,

I didn't change anything. I tried to open Twitter and it wouldn't work. Then I tried to open it using a mobile user agent, and again it wouldn't work.

I just tried again on a freshly installed Centaury browser, just to make sure it wasn't a temporary problem yesterday. But again I get an error.

One more little thing, not relevant to this thread. I saw you put out a new version of the browser, but I can't download it. How can I get it?

Thanks :)

I think these websites are preparing for a www for chrome only. Everyone else is excluded.

I tried with a mobile user agent, it doesn't work with Centaury.

Why did you try with Firefox 52? Try it with Centaury man haha :)
