SUGGESTION: Blue to orange to red icon color spectrum.

I know this is probably nit-picky but is there any chance you could incorporate this? Right now we can only have 2 colors so my blue to orange setup is purple at 72 degrees f. Purple never looks right for representing temperature.

I suppose you're talking about the "variable" temperature colors in tray icon (when the temp icon or both icons are activated). Right now the application does a linear interpolation between the colors defined to the min and max temperatures. Right now the only way to avoid what you say (purple at 72ºF) is to define different colors or modify the min and/or max temperature limits using the configuration interface.
Doing a widget to define different colors for different temperatures is of course possible, I'll add it to the to-do list.
