I was using the [python-kasa-git aur package](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/python-kasa-git) which builds from source, and according to my install I was using [commit 203bd79](https://github.com/python-kasa/python-kasa/commit/203bd79253f948e38de02b541bf8bae531dabd1c) from Apr 17th
