[BUG] extension breaks flameshot's shortcuts

Open GamaunG opened this issue 9 months ago • 3 comments

With workspaces-by-open-apps enabled, shortcuts like esc, ctrl+c, ctrl+s, etc., are passed through to the terminal (or gnome if flameshot is launched via shortcut) instead of flameshot itself

i'm on gnome 48

Thanks for the report. I find this difficult to imagine how this behavior is related to the extension, has it uses no "global" shortcuts. The only idea I have is because some gestures are captured, like scrolling or clicking only while hovering the extension. Maybe when Flameshot is launched the mouse is placed under the hood at the top left corner, right where the extension is placed, making it capture the keys pressed.

Can you try moving the extension somewhere else using settings (top middle or top right) and try to reproduce the issue?

Moving it to top middle or top right doesn't help. I've even tried relogging. Toggling any extension setting helps for 1-5 screenshots, but then breaks again
