What distro are you using? Because I haven't seen that error in any test I've done so far.
Anyway, I'm going to spend some time this week troubleshooting and updating the issues I haven't updated yet. Thanks for reporting.

Well, I have not tested with Sway or Void Linux, the only TWM I have tested with is Xmonad and it works fine.
I'm going to check where the problem might come from and try to solve it.
