Curve with two points tail will release when you hit enter, but curve tool with multiple points won't release tail

Could you be more specific? Are you trying to use the spline with control points tool?

If so the tool requires an odd number of points to be selected.... and this issue can probably be closed.

I checked the Curve and Spline tools, and both allow users to drag the curve and handles. @DSCaskey You're correct, the Curve with Control Points and Spline with Control Points tools are not supposed to allow users to drag the curves and handles. Without further information from @darrineb this issue can be closed.
