Viewer: regex search backwards does not select the found match

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a non-empty file in the internal Viewer.
2. F7; search down for the regex .*
3. Note that the entire first line is found and selected.
4. Alt+F7; If needed, click Yes on the Continue from the end... dialog.
5. Continue pressing Alt+F7

Expected behavior

After the step 4, either the entire last line or maybe the last character on the last line is selected.

At the subsequent Alt+F7 presses (step 5), subsequent matches are found and selected backwards.

Actual behavior

After the step 4 and 5 nothing is selected.

It looks like the subsequent lines from the bottom to the top are actually found but not selected because after the due number of Alt+F7 repetitions, the Continue from the end... dialog pops up again.
