Cannot maximize the game after alt-tabbing

Description Game freezes when i alt+tab from game during multiplayer session, it stays minimized in background, and shown as an active task in task editor, but i am incapable of getting back to game's window, it just stays minimized and plays windows notification sound when i try to get back to it. This issue sometimes takes place in singleplayer too, but it happens rarely and game's window work back on after one or two clicks. But in multiplayer i'm being unable to get back to window in a several minutes, 10 or 15 probably, i didn't really measure. After this time i can get back to game, usually. Sometimes not.
Steps To Reproduce Started open server in "campaign" mode, waited till friend connects, started round. After round started, alt+tab. After that - unable to turn the window back on. No background music or anything, just windows notification sound when clicking on game's window. After some time window can be activated normally.

I have this issue as well. I found that you can get back in to the game by spam-clicking the icon in the task bar. My average success rate is 10 seconds of spam clicking really fast. Sometimes I get lucky and it only takes a few clicks. Sometimes it takes 15 or more seconds.
This also happens in borderless mode if you click off the game whilst loading in to a server, the game becomes unresponsive for a moment when you click back when its still loading in.
Having same issue on Windows 10 playing fullscreen and borderless, spamming the task bar icon helps but it's very random. Game still works fine in the background tho.
Strangely this bug stopped existing for me in one of the last 3 or so updates. Not sure if the updates solved it for me or if I accidentally fixed something though.
Tested the unstable branch today and it locks up just like in OP's post, if I'm in a game or in a game lobby and tab the game down then the screen remains minimized forever and needs to be terminated, tested multiple times and it generated a crash report only once, might be helpful? crashreport (3).log .Edit: Crashes in Stable as well. Edit 2: Joined a friend's game and it didn't crash at all, only when I host my own game.
I also experience this when hosting a multiplayer lobby. As others have stated, spam clicking the taskbar icon eventually lets me back in (maybe 30 seconds of spam clicking).
Single player is fine, it only affects MP.
v0.17.15.0 hotfix. Win 10. All windows updates installed.
Workaround for stuck minimized while hosting is to select the icon in taskbar to bring it into focus and press Windows Key + Up arrow (⊞+↑) which triggers a maximize, tested on Win10 but not sure if it works for Win11
