What happened?
This post is a collection of various sprite issues. Here's a brief list of what's happening in the image:
- Some hull parts are misaligned with their damaged sprites.
- Some sprites suffer from sprite bleeding or sprite tearing.
- Rotated variations of exterior wall caps have different collision boxes.
- Setting the opacity of a hull part to 0 keeps the broken sprite visible. (This is unexpected, but has its uses and probably shouldn't be fixed. "Hidden in game" is a viable alternative.)
- There's a duplicate sprite of a shuttle plate.
- Some of the decorative structures still have their default sprite depth set to 0.980, which makes them z-fight with background walls.
- The new hatch background feels weirdly out of place, compared to the background the door uses.
Discussion 13640 was the round 1. A lot of the smaller issues mentioned in it have been resolved already.
Also, please fix the sprite depth of the door background. The fact that wires and cable holders show up in front of an open door is a major source of minor suffering. :(

Here's a new version of the file, with a couple more things. The wreck growth Uber pointed out and two background walls with sprite tearing. The tearing also happens on the vertical inside wall. (The solid one, with collision, used for all outposts and submarines.) It can be seen only when the wall is very tall. SubEditorWoes.zip
